Eighty-six (86) IFMA-certified technical officials gathered in Langkawi, Malaysia for an important five (5) day seminar on fair play.
Fair play inside and outside of the ring is one of Muaythai’s pillars. This is done to ensure that Muaythai remains a safe sport and fair decisions are made by referees and judges. To this end, IFMA conducts seminars at all levels (national, continental and world) to ensure that officials are of the highest standards possible. With the ever growing popularity of Muaythai, the inclusion of Muaythai in the Multi Sports Games, principles of fair play and ensuring that Muaythai remains a safe sport become an even more important task for IFMA.
