
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has firmly established itself as a global force in Muaythai, guided by a clear strategic vision, strong governance, and a comprehensive approach to athlete development. Fully aligned with Saudi Vision 2030, Muaythai in the Kingdom places sport at the heart of social development, youth empowerment, inclusion, and national pride.
In true International Federation of Muaythai Associations tradition, the Saudi Muaythai Kingdom Championship officially closed the 2025 sporting calendar in impressive fashion. The event brought together a record number of athletes and clubs from across the Kingdom, underlining Saudi Arabia’s growing leadership role within the international Muaythai community and its long-term commitment to sustainable sport development.


His Royal Highness Prince Fahad Bin Mansour Bin Saad Bin Saud Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, President of the Saudi Muaythai Federation and Vice President of IFMA, highlighted the strength of this collaboration, stating:
“The close cooperation between IFMA and the Saudi Muaythai Federation since day one has been built on the five pillars of Muaythai. Together, we have ensured an inclusive platform that supports athletes from grassroots to elite level, and across all abilities.”
The championship showcased the full spectrum of Muaythai disciplines, including Wai Kru, Mae Mai Muay, Para Muaythai, Special Divisions, and Combat, reflecting both the cultural depth of Muaythai and the Kingdom’s strong commitment to inclusion and accessibility.

The Opening Ceremony and competitions were staged at the iconic Olympic Green Hall, a venue renowned for hosting world-class events, including the Opening Ceremony of the World Combat Games.
Across six days of competition, athletes delivered outstanding performances, with all champions securing qualification for the 2026 Senior and Youth World Championships, marking a defining milestone in their sporting journeys.
The final major event of the 2025 calendar will be the International Muaythai Championships, with 28 countries confirmed to participate. Together, these milestones position the Saudi Muaythai Kingdom Championship as a strong statement of progress, unity, and ambition, reinforcing the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s role as a driving force in shaping the global future of Muaythai.
