In the presence of Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Riyadh region and personalities from around the world, the Saudi Games saw an electrifying opening ceremony with the athletes’ parade consisting over 6000 athletes proudly walking in to the King Faht Stadium, Riyadh.

HRH Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Alfaisal the President of the Saudi National Olympic Committee and Minister of Sport, honored the athletes of all abilities from the past, present and inspiring the future.

A special moment was the flag ceremony carried by prominent athletes both from the Olympic and Paralympic Committee and a breathtaking performance with the athletes taking center stage, to the oath ceremony and the anticipating moment when the torch entered the stadium.

Muaythai, which was one of most outstanding sports at the World Combat Games and fully recognized by the Saudi National Olympic and Paralympic Committee under the Presidency of Prince Fahad Bin Mansour bin Saad Bin Saud Al Saud, who is also the IFMA Vice President, will be competing for 5 days together with many other Olympic sports for fame and glory.

IFMA President Dr. Sakchye Tapsuan sends his congratulations to HRH Prince Fahad Bin Mansour bin Saad Bin Saud Al Saud and the Crown Prince MBS for his vision 2030 in which sport for all plays an important part. Dr. Sakchye further thanked Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Alfaisal for all his support and cooperation.
