On July 27th, the much anticipated Rajadamnern World Series (RWS) Super-welterweight Division will take center stage at the historic Rajadamnern Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.
This stacked division promises an electrifying showcase of Muaythai talent as three RWS Tournament belt holders, Daniel Rodriguez, Thananchai and Rittewada will fight in the first round of the tournament tonight. This division also showcases former and current IFMA, World Games and WMC champions with many accolades to their name including Thananchai, Daniel Rodriguez and Reza.
With eight fighters competing in each division, the stakes are high as they battle for the ultimate winner’s prize of ฿1,000,000 (approximately $28,000 US dollars) in each weight class. The anticipation is palpable, and fans worldwide eagerly await the clash of champions under the stadium’s iconic roof.
RWS and IFMA continue their MoU and close partnership highlighting the development of fighters into world stage professional opportunities while protecting the safety and health of the fighters.
Featured tonight in the preliminary bouts is UAE superstar, multiple IFMA gold medalist and WMC World Champion, Elias Habib Ali. This will be the first athlete from UAE to compete at the historic Rajadamnern Stadium and ironically it was at the 2022 Senior World Championships in Dubai, UAE where the first MoU between Rajadamnern Stadium and IFMA was signed.
Good luck to all the athletes tonight!
