The Russian Muaythai Championships will be held in Kemerovo at the Kuzbass Arena (Gagarina st., 124) from the 18th  to 22nd of August with the participation of some 150 athletes from more than 30 Russian regions.

Current World and European Champions the likes of Artem Levin and Artem Vakhitov are among the competitors, accompanied by World-class athletes like Konstantin Khuzin, Aleksandr Abramov and Daniil Gavrilov.

 

The Russian Muaythai Championship will be the final national event to qualify athletes to represent the Hammer and Sickle at the upcoming second edition of the SportAccord World Combat Games (WCG) in Saint-Petersburg on 18th-26th of October under patronage of the IOC.

 

The “Kuzbass Victory Heritage” Expo will also take place during championships featuring a Kuzbass Sport Museum showcasing trophies and medals from 1st World Combat Games, World Muaythai Championships 2012, unique Champion belts, event mascots and other media materials.
