It is with heavy hearts that the muaythai world says goodbye to one of the most outstanding muaythai pioneers, known as one of the most outstanding technicians and nicknamed Mr Lowkick. His fight name, Rob ‘The Dutchman’ Kaman has inspired and guided entire generations together with the very much missed Ramon Decker.
Training at the famous Mejiro Gym and in the motherland whilst fighting in the major stadiums he competed and won against the best in the world with a fight record of 98 wins, 78 of them through knockout with only 12 losses. Following his retirement he continued to inspire athletes around the world as well as being a great example to many.
The muaythai world bows down to one of the legends of the sport, gone too early and our prayers are with his family, his loved ones, the many he has touched throughout his life, and his legacy will live on through the spirit of muaythai.
Rest in Peace.
