Atty. Lucas Managuelod (Ret. Gen.), President of the Muaythai Association of the Philippines, has been appointed Chief of Mission by the Philippine Olympic Committee (POC) in the upcoming Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games (AIMAGs), to be held in Incheon, Korea in 2013.

This is a truly great honour for Muaythai in the Philippines, as its president has been chosen over the forty-three other National Sports Associations in the Philippines.

The National Olympic Committee of the Philippines will be participating in the Sports Discipline of :

1) Billiard Sports; (14 athletes)

2) Bowling; (8 athletes)

3) Baduk (8 athletes)

4) Dance Sport (8 athletes)

5) Futsal (28 athletes)

6) Indoor Kobaddi (14 athletes)

7) Muaythai ( 5 athletes)

8) Short Course Swimming (25 m.) (40 athletes)

This will bring a total of 117 athletes, plus officials from the Philippine Olympic Committee and the Philippine Sports Commission, not to mention spectators, in what promises to be a strong showing for the upcoming AIMAGS.
