Muaythai in Pan America is striving and all Pan American countries have finalised the qualifications for the upcoming Royal World Cup which is also the first official qualifier for 2017 World Games held under patronage of the International Olympic Committee.
Big delegations will travel to Bangkok: team USA announced 80 people to arrive, Brazil sent a list of 70 representatives, Canada makes a jump in numbers to 64 participants, and team Mexico brings over 30 people to Bangkok.
This is a great leap for Amercian muaythai with Argentina, Peru, Costa Rica, Suriname, Ecuador and many more also coming to Bangkok to show not only their strength but also that Pan America has strong intentions to hold the future World Championships.
Muaythai in the Americas has seen an immence boost and the Royal World Cup will give new momentum to the Pan American national federations in their strive towards the highest sport recognition.
