IFMA is proud of their One Standard Muaythai Education which is an integral part of IFMA’s development.
Every IFMA coach must receive a level 1 coaching certificate which covers theoretical subjects which includes the history of muaythai and IFMA, coaching principles, sport psychology, nutrition, athlete health and safety of the athletes, anti-doping education, athlete safeguarding, legal aspects with 14 educators will teach this 20h intensive course to 132 instructors from all 5 continents. The Chair of the IFMA Education Dato Shanaz Azmi, stated that, “IFMA believes in the importance of quality education and using all partners within the Olympic Pyramid is essential for the development of the coaches and the art and sport.”
The course will run for 5 days with a special awards ceremony held at the International Olympic Academy at Ancient Olympia.
