The Belarus Muaythai Federation headed by its Chairman General Yuriy Karaev and the Vice President Mr. Anatoliy Simonchik are leading the preparation for the European Muaythai Championships 2019 and yesterday reported that the National Olympic Committee of Belarus again gave full patronage to Muaythai and the event which will take place 3-11 November in the Minsk Palace of Sport.

Mr. Simonchik reported that all arrangements have been done to welcome international teams in Minsk again. The local crowd still remembers excitinig moments of the World Muaythai Championships 2017 as Belarus athletes won the Best Team award. This year Belarus audience will require from their national team to add a continental Best Team title to the world’s trophy.

General Karaev said that it is an honour to have the patronage from the highest sports authority in Belarus, and the fact that the President of the Belarus NOC is also the President of the country Aleksandr Lukashenko speaks for the high esteem for the competition. The IFMA Athletes’ Conference in 2017 was a true highlight of the World Championships and the cooperation between the Belarus NOC and Belarus Muaythai Federation became ever stronger since then.

Six competition days from 5 to 10 November will be the best present for the local audience for the season’s end and for online viewers an amazing combat show to follow in the comfort of their homes.
