It is with great pleasure that we officially announce IFMA’s participation at the 2016 Cheongju Martial Arts Masterships which are scheduled to take place in Cheongju City, Chungcheongbuk-do, Republic of Korea from 2-8 September 2016. The muaythai competition which will run from 3-5 September, will be hosted by the 2016 Cheongju World Martial Arts Masterships Organising Committee (WMAMOC) in cooperation with the Korean Muaythai Association under the sanctioning of IFMA.
This event will commence immediately following the Youth World Championships in Bangkok, and so particiapting NFs will be able to find very affordable flights from Bangkok to Seoul on Air Asia.
The event’s theme of “Harmony of the World Martial Arts” is embodied in the slogan “Martial Arts for One World, One World for Martial Arts”. The WMAMOC have based the Value and Vision for the event on the three functions of heaven, earth and human…

The emblem symbolises the “Bio Valley and Solar Valley” of Chungcheongbuk-do and harmoniously characterises the six continents with six colours, creating a representation of an event which promotes international unity with a variety of martial arts and martial artists.
