After 2 years of qualifications, over 1,000 events from nationals, to continentals and world championships with over 20,000 athletes, 88 of them, 24 women and 64 men from across five continents, united at heart with the same goals and dreams, to stand proud on the podium to become the 2017 Muaythai World Games champion.

The Road to Wroclaw has been watched by millions on TV, in the stadiums, online in their homes.. and now the final journey lies ahead; TWG2017 in which muaythai will make its debut as a full medal sport only 6 months after IFMA and muaythai have been recognised by the International Olympic Committee.

 

Over the next 2 weeks, IFMA will be releasing the names of our proud ambassadors and athletes division by division. We wish them all the best of luck ion their final preparations for their gold quest.
