Muaythai is more than just a fighting sport, it’s a martial art form and a science.

Muaythai is a unique in its kind, whether it is practiced as a form of self-defense, health or fitness training, or for competition.

 

Sports of any type has an extremely important moral value, especially for the younger generation. Particularly in times of instability, sport has the power to let us put aside our differences and focus on common understanding and good will. The 2011 IFMA World Championships is such an example; 75 countries are coming together in a memorandum of peace and friendship.

A special cultural festival was arranged before the opening ceremony, which gave the chance to visitors from all five continents to experience and understand more about the host country, Uzbekistan.
