Meggie Ochoa needs no introduction in the World of Sport.

She stamped her name in the Philippines and sport history by becoming the first Philippine Ju-Jitsu World Champion. She is a Sea Games Gold medal winner and an Asian Games Bronze medalist but more than an athlete, she is the founder of the Fight to Protect Movement which is a platform that raises awareness on child sexual violence.

Meggie is a Board Member of the International Ju-Jitsu Federation. Under the Presidency of Panagiotis Theodoropoulos, who is also the GAISF Vice President. Meggie stands firm in promoting and protecting the Olympic Values of non-discrimination. We would like to encourage you to support this movement and support Meggie. Please check out her Facebook ‘Meggie Ochoa’. Today she gives us a personal message of encouragement and invites us to her home for a workout.

Thank you to IJJF and to Meggie, which has been one of the keynote speakers at the last United Through Sport’s Conference and at the Olympics Unleashed Youth initiative at the last Sportaccord Convention in Gold Coast, Australia.
