One of the most beautiful islands in the world will become Muaythai island from the 1st-10th of May 2014. The Malaysian Muaythai Association and Malaysian Government won the bid for the 2014 World Championship, and now are preparing to welcome over 2000 visitors from over 100 countries.

In addition to the main competition program, IFMA will hold its annual general meeting and executive board meeting, as well as number of workshops on fair play and sport integrity, athletes’ career program, environmental impact of sport and IFMA sustainability program, public relations and social media, and social responsibility workshops.

In 2014 Langkawi will welcome muaythai practitioners from around the world and their family members. In order for everyone enjoy this unique experience various activities for kids and spouses will be added to the program.
