The International World Games Association General Assembly has give many fresh insights for the IWGA members opening the morning session with welcoming word from the President Mr. Jose Perurena. Mr. Perurena welcomed the guests and again made an accent on important cooperation with the IOC which started in the 2017 edition of the Games.

The floor was next taken by the video message of the IOC President Mr. Thomas Bach. The IOC Sport Director Mr. Kit McConnel was welcomed to the stage again outlining latest ideas, proposals and challenges the world of sport faces today. Mr. McConnel thanked the World Games team for the fruitful cooperation and that IOC is looking forward to the 2021 World Games in Birmingham.

The IWGA Vice President Mr, Max Bishop took the stage making a report on the World Games bidding process and presented to the World Games members the host of the World Games 2025 which will be held in the city of Chengdu, China. Mr. Bishop asked all the attendees to welcome the LOC of the Games which arrived to Australia. A team of about 20 representatives led by the Mayor of Chengdu, Mr. Luo Qiang who said that he as the Chengdu citizen is looking forward to the Games.

Mr. Jonatan Porter, the Chairman of the 2021 World Games took the floor with the report on the soon upcoming edition as they take over from the city of Wroclaw. Muaythai just concluded the first qualification event with first names making the list of the Games.

The World Games 2021 are around the corner and every IFMA event will give a chance to muaythai athletes to gain points for their qualification.
