IFMA would like to congratulate Ingrid Jost, one of the pioneers of the Pan-American muaythai on the election as the new President of the IFMA Member federation representing Brazil, the CBMTT. Her activities have made a remarkable contribution to the development of Brazilian muaythai, increasing the femlae involvement to sport and administrative positions.

IFMA is committed to gender equality at all levels of the sport and is proud that muaythai has truly become a sport for every body on all levels, and the fact that today 30% of the IFMA Executive Board are females confirms that ever more women use muaythai as a means of competition, self defense and simply a way of life.
