To become a fully recognized IFMA member federation, you must go through a strict process which includes being a properly registered national federation with working principles to anti-doping, youth development, gender equality, athletes commission and the list goes on.

The IFMA Membership Commission must see all these criteria in working and functioning manner before becoming a provisional member and then a full voting member.

Six national federations made this important step and have been put forward in the vote at the General Assembly. We would like to congratulate these 6 new members, namely: Trinidad and Tobago, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Tunisia, Algeria and Montenegro which now brings the number to 146 IFMA member countries.

Congratulations to the new National Federations. Let us continue to work as one to promote and foster the Olympic Values.
