IFMA Vice President is re-elected as the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan
Mr. Karim Massimov is a true visionary in life; one of the most respected statespersons. He is re-elected as the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan for 4th term which truly shows his credibility in the country, and ironically he is serving his 4th time as IFMA Vice President and President of Asian Federation, FAMA.
Mr. Massimov has been instrumental in development of muaythai in Kazakhstan, sport loving country which hosted many sport events of the highest standard. His love for sport and muaythai goes back for so many years, and it was Kazakhstan which hosted the first IFMA world championships outside the motherland in 2003, which was remembered as an event standing out for universality, solidarity, cultural and sporting exchange.
From there IFMA has hosted many world championships around the world but Kazakhstan will always be remembered as first.
The IFMA family and all stakeholders of the sport sends wishes and congratulations. Muaythai stands out by the versatility in the executive board as not many sports can claim to have a Prime Minister for so many years as a continental and vice president.
Thank you, Mr. Massimov.
