The 28th-29th of July will be the date for the IFMA Athletes’ Forum and the largest ever congregate of IFMA will travel to Bangkok.

Athletes representatives from over 100 international federations with an expected participation of around 800 athletes will make it the biggest ever muaythai athlete gathering.
IFMA Commission Chairman, Janice Lyn, stated that the IFMA Athletes’ Commission is the legitimate voice of the World Muaythai Athletes and this yearly get together is most important so that the athletes are part of every step of the IFMA decision making process.
Building on the historic adoption of the Olympic Athletes’ Declaration, the forum will make important decisions, including the election of new IFMA Athletes’ Commission members for the next term.
IFMA Sports Director, Charissa Tynan, stated that there will be many speakers from the Olympic movement and that there is an increase of 20% from the 2018 Athletes’ Forum which was held in Cancun, Mexico. This shows IFMA’s continued growth and importance of the IFMA Athletes.
