The International Federation of Muaythai Associations (IFMA) is in full solidarity and accordance with the International Olympic Committee’s strong condemnation of the breach of Olympic truce by the Russian and Belarussian governments and shall suspend all activities and events in Russia and Belarus until this grievous breach has ended. IFMA is deeply concerned for the safety of its muaythai family in Ukraine. We are in contact with the members of our family, and we will try to assist in whatever humanitarian manner or form possible.
The safety of all our athletes and family members is always our utmost primary concern and IFMA believes in sport, and its indomitable power to build a better world. We very much hope that peace will be restored soon, and a special committee has been established to formulate assistive action for our family members in Ukraine.
