A special honour came towards IFMA Sport Director Charissa Tynan when she had the opportunity to meet the IOC President Dr Thomas Bach, IOC General Secretary Christophe De Kepper and IOC Sport Director Kit McConnell.
Ms. Tynan was representing one of the 23 AIMS member international federations that were invited to the IOC headquarters in Lausanne to receive a briefing on some important developments and topics which included the updated IOC recognition process.
Ms. Tynan made a special presentation to the IOC President, presenting him with the latest IFMA Book entitled “Muaythai Revealed” which the IOC President graciously accepted whilst commenting that he was keen to read it in order to learn more about the sport and art of Muaythai which is one of the sports currently striving for IOC recognition.
