The last day of the IFMA Ad-Hoc Management Committee Meeting concluded with a Press Briefing chaired by IFMA President Dr. Sakchye Tapsuwan and General Secretary Stephan Fox.

A detailed report was given on all decisions made at the meeting, especially with regards to IFMA’s continued efforts to protect the youth and strong stance against child exploitation.

Among the announcements were IFMA’s MoU with ITA, the opening of the new Lausanne office IFMA’s roadmap and strategic plan from 2019 – 2023 and IFMA’s continued partnership with UNESCO, Right to Play, Generations for Peace, Peace & Sport, Extreme Entertainment. The announcement of the major event this year – the Arafura Games in Darwin Australia, the Youth World Championships in Antalya Turkey, Asian Championships in Abu Dhabi, World Martial Arts Masterships in Chungju Korea, the SEA Games in the Philippines, and also after five years of being abroad from Tashkent to St. Petersburg, to Langkawi  to Jönköping, to Minsk and Cancun, the return of the Senior World Championships to Bangkok in honour of HM King Rama 10.
