Forty-five National Olympic Committees from Asia participated in the 43rd OCA General Assembly in Bangkok which was chaired by the acting President, Raja Randhir Singh. The acting President described this event as one of the most important general assemblies in the history of the OCA due to the major changes in the OCA constitution. 

The IOC President, Thomas Bach, also addressed this important gathering and the OCA unanimously approved a series of constitutional reforms which are in line with the Olympic Charter governing the global Olympic Movement.

Many updates had been given on the upcoming Indoor Asian Games in Thailand, Asian Games in addition to many important side meetings that took place.

IFMA Secretary General, Stephan Fox, who was an observer at this important assembly, thanked the OCA for the invitation and is looking forward to the continued cooperation of IFMA and the Olympic Council of Asia.
