IFMA India National Muaythai Championship 2011 will be held from August 5 – 7, 2011 in the historic city of Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh. Hyderabad is one of the fastest growing cities of India and has emerged as a strong industrial, commercial, technology center, gives a picture of glimpses of past splenders and the legacy of its old history. The city founded in the year 1591 by Mohammed Quli Qutub Shah, the fifth sultan of Qutb Shahi dynasty, offers a fascinating panorama of the past, with richly mixed cultural and historical tradition spanning over 400 years.

Over 300 Muaythai boxers from across the 28 MFI-affiliated Units will be taking part in this mega IFMA National Muaythai Championship 2011 which will also be graced Indian Olympic officials, National and International Sports personalities. The Championship will be qualifiers for the forthcoming IFMA World Muaythai Championships 2011 to be held from September 20 -27, 2011 at Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
