The IFMA General Secretary together with UAE Board Member Tariq Mohammed Al-Mehairi and Board Member Ali Khouri visited the finals of the UAE Muaythai Championships.
IFMA praised the outstanding organisation which put the hearts and souls of the athletes at the centre.
Nearly 1000 athletes from 18 participating countries showcased the strength of muaythai in Asia.
The General Secretary had chance to visit the muaythai arena Space 42 which is probably one of the most outstanding mauythai arenas in the world.
The General Secretary took his time to visit and chat with the athletes and officials from the different organisations congratulating them on their hard work.
He thanked His Excellency Abdullah Saeed Al Neyadi, President of the UAE Federation, President of FAMA and IFMA Vice President for his leadership and the entire organisation team for giving this opportunity to make this one of he biggest Open championships ever staged in the history of muaythai which showcases the continued growth of muaythai.
He also thanked the UAE Minister of Sport, the Abu Dhabi Sports Council and the National Olympic Committee for their support in this event which showcases once again the strength of IFMA, as the sole organisation recognised by the International Olympic Committee.
