Representatives from the IFMA Female commission, met together with the representative of UN Women Anna-Karin Jatfors for the IFMA Female Commission meeting. Members from Finland, Sweden, Mexico and New Zealand were amongst some of the countries that gathered together with Mrs. Jatfors.

IFMA Vice President Sue Latta chaired the meeting, talking proudly on the achievements made over the last 12 months. IFMA sport director Charissa Tynan stated that the close cooperation between the IFMA Female Commission, Executive Board and HQ has been outstanding and that the female commission is one of the most active within IFMA. UN Women representative Anna-Karin Jatfors said that UN women is proud to sign the new MOU between Muaythai and UN women and is looking forward to a close working relationship with IFMA and WMC. The Project, which will use the values of Muaythai to educate youth, is aimed at putting an end to violence against women. Meetings will be held over the next week to design and implement strategic plans for the project.
