IFMA is truly proud to grow together with its national federations and their leaders in different positions. Every year Muyathai representatives are taking important roles in the IFMA structure and in their national bodies for sports, Olympic Committees and Ministries of Sport.
At the recent Annual General Meeting IFMA was proud to announce the nomination of the President of the Muaythai Association of Philippines Ms. Pearl Managuelod (PHI) and IFMA International Technical Official Ms. Abby Nelson (AUS) as IFMA Executive Committee members.
For Ms. Managuelod it was a special day as she was also elected to be the Executive Board Member of the Philippines Olympic Committee. Under the Presidency of Ms. Managuelod Muaythai in the Philippines saw its best years and today it is one of the strongest Asian teams. The new position in IFMA structure will be a truly great asset for IFMA as Ms. Managuelod’s vision goes beyond the competition aspect of the sport.
Ms. Nelson needs no introduction in IFMA as she has built a reputation of one of the most experienced referee and technical official. The recent success of the Virtual World Championships was one of the challenges where Ms. Nelson again showed her professionalism as one of the top Muaythai technical officials.
IFMA is proud to welcome Ms. Nelson and Ms. Managuelod to the top ranks and looking forward to take new challenges in giving Muaythai athletes opportunities to excel through Muaythai.
