An important meeting took place both on site and virtual with 45 European Federations present plus 20 invited IFMA NFs to discuss muaythai paving forward and other important issues.


The meeting was chaired by IFMA Director General Charissa Tynan, IFMA Vice President Rafal Szlachta, IFMA Executive Board Member Hasan Yildz and many other important members.


GAISF Vice President Stephan Fox reported on GAISF and SportAccord and the next steps forward.


Charissa Tynan IFMA Director General thanked everyone for a successful 2022 with record numbers in the last event in Antalya with over 1000 participants including 750 athletes and 200 officials from 32 countries participating.


Over the course of 2022, IFMA has staged multi-sport events, world championships with the senior in Abu Dhabi, the youth in Malaysia and FISU UWC in Turkey, The World Games in USA, SEA Games in Vietnam and over 800 single events around the world, with the highlight event being the Muaythai Royal World Cup that was staged during the World Expo in Dubai.
