After months of planning, it is finally here – The Hispanic World Championships.

Hispanic spokesperson and WMC Board member Emilio Becker stated that this show is set to be a great mixture of the traditions of Muaythai crossed with the Hispanic countries.

 

April 19th will see the beautiful Spanish City of El Vendrell, hosting the first WTC All Hispanic title fight. The 79kg title fight will see Argentinian Damian Bujan, who recently had an outstanding fight against Canadian superstar Simon Marcus, will face Spain’s Pedro Martinez, WMC Champion who has over 80 fights with a record of 70-12-8 (17 KO).

 

ASOCIACION WMTC DEL MUNDO HISPANO (All Hispanic World WMC Asociation) will officially introduce themselves next month to over 100 countries at the IFMA World championships in Langkawi Malaysia

 

Along with the Main event, another 2 professional international fights will take place. Saray Medina, Spanish WMC Champion Vs Emma Brag (UK) and Martin Velasco (Argentina) Vs Alex Garcia (Spain).

 

The undercard will further promote both Amateur Muaythai and IFMA for the upcoming the Mediterranean Games and in the preparation for the 2014 IFMA World championships in which the Spanish national team will square off the rest of the world.

 

A special presentation will be made by Emilio Becker on SportAccord’s Spirit of Sport award which has recently been awarded to Muaythai and IFMA. He will also introduce the inclusion of IFMA’s Sport is Your Gang project in Spain.

 

Authorities from 2017 Mediterranean Games Organising Committee have confirmed their assistance for the gala.
