The 2026 USA Muaythai Grand Nationals marked a significant milestone in the continued development of Muaythai across the United States, showcasing a unified system built on structure, opportunity, and progression.

With athletes competing from youth divisions through to elite level, the event demonstrated a clear and inclusive pathway for growth. Every competitor, regardless of experience, was given the platform to develop, perform, and advance within a structured national framework aligned with international standards.

No shortcuts.
No gaps.
Only progression.

Official Qualifier for the World Stage
The Grand Nationals serve as the official qualification event for both the International Federation of Muaythai Associations Youth and Senior World Championships.
For many athletes, this marks the defining step in their journey earning the right to represent the United States as part of Team USA.

As the officially recognized national federation under the United States Olympic & Paralympic Committee, Team USA remains the only Muaythai team authorized to represent the country within this framework and to carry the Olympic identity on the international stage.
The message from this year’s event was clear:

Team USA is ready for the world.
Recognizing Long-Term Contribution
In recognition of outstanding service to the sport, five coaches were presented with Presidential Awards for over a decade of dedication to Muaythai in the United States:

Dan Brandt
Their leadership and commitment have played a critical role in athlete development and in strengthening the national Muaythai structure.
