The final day of the East Asian Muaythai Championships 2024 at Queen Elizabeth Stadium in Hong Kong was a thrilling spectacle that left fans on the edge of their seats. The bleachers were packed with enthusiastic supporters from all over East Asia, creating an electric atmosphere, especially with the unique inclusion of Professional WMC Title matches intermixed with the Elite finals. Many VIPs from the government and the IFMA family were in attendance, adding to the grandeur of the event.
Among the day’s most exciting matches were:
- Liu Xiaohui (China) vs. Hoi Yi Want (Hong Kong, China): This match showcased the exceptional strength and skill of the female athletes with both competitors demonstrating incredible talent and determination. It was China’s Liu Xiaohui who came out on top with the victory and gold for China.
- Ho Hin Hugo Mok (Hong Kong) vs. Kit Lo Chan (Macau): The bout ended early in the second round, highlighting the sheer power and technique of Hong Kong rising star Ho Hin Hugo Mok.
- Hoi Ting Lam (Hong Kong) vs. Jiahui Lin (China): An extremely close and intense match that had the crowd cheering loudly for their favorite athletes. It was the Home Team’s Tinky Lam who came out victorious and gold for Hong Kong.
- Baatarchuluun Ganselem (Mongolia) vs. Tsz Hin So (Hong Kong): This nail-biting match kept the audience on their feet, with both fighters showcasing their fighting spirit and skill. In the end, it was Mongolia’s Ganselem who edged his way to gold with an outstanding performance.
