Burbank, CA July 20, 2010 – Risarc Productions Inc. announces the launch of its internationally respected Champions of Champions (COC) Elite Muaythai fight series on the G4 Network Friday July 23rd at 8pm. Two years in the making, Champions of Champions has become one of the most recognized live muaythai events in the world and is the leader of the sport in North America.

With the popularity of MMA and UFC, the doors have been opened for American audiences to see what Asia and Europe have been experiencing and enjoying for decades. Muaythai has been a staple in Europe on Fox Sports, EuroSport and UBC for many years, and now the USA gets the chance to see what all the excitement has been about. With over one million fans in the United States, muaythai has built a fan base that rivals the status of any fighting sport on television today.

Full Rules Muaythai is a perfect fit for television sports. Known as the Art of Eight Limbs, Muaythai fighters utilize hands, feet, knees and elbows, thus making the entire body an offensive as well as defensive weapon. A weapon that can do major damage in the ring. With the muaythai arsenal so full, viewers won’t be able to take their eyes off the fast paced, last man standing action. You won’t see any ‘to the mat, wait it out’ maneuvers here!

Muaythai is one of the most compelling stand-up fighting sports, not just because of the non-stop action, but because of the compassion and dedication its fighters bring to the ring. Muaythai fighters are in supreme shape due to the rigorous training they undertake. What the fans get is a sport that represents more than just fighting, but a pure way of life.

To be a top-end muaythai fighter, training is not just a necessity, it is a life choice. Top fighters in Thailand live, breath and eat muaythai training. Some of them even punch and kick in their sleep! It is a 7 days a week schedule, getting up before sunrise, training well into the night, sleeping on mats and living in the most spartan conditions. They train as warriors do; their goal to be more focused and better prepared than their opponent. More dedicated athletes cannot be found in any other sport.

Athletes driven by passion, hunger, desire and commitment always makes for compelling viewing. Watch this space for the latest updates, show fight cards and program schedules. DONT MISS IT!!!
