
The UAE National Muaythai Team has once again made history — commanding international attention from the arenas of Antalya to the stadiums of Thai Nguyen, showcasing excellence at the 2025 World and Asian Muaythai Championships.

Representing the United Arab Emirates on both world and continental stages, the national team displayed outstanding discipline, unity, and athleticism. Every performance reflected not only technical skill but the deeper values of sportsmanship, dedication, and national pride.
From the first bell in Antalya to the final round in Thai Nguyen, the athletes stood as ambassadors of their nation and of the values that Muaythai upholds.
Historic Medal Tally in Hanoi

At the 2025 Asian Muaythai Championships held in Thai Nguyen, Vietnam, the UAE delegation delivered a historic performance, securing a total of 16 medals:
8 Gold
4 Silver
4 Bronze
In addition to this remarkable success, the team was honored with two of the tournament’s most prestigious accolades:
Best Male Team of the Tournament
Best Male Breakthrough Athlete, awarded to Mohammed Jafla for his outstanding performance throughout the competition

His Excellency Abdullah Saeed Al Neyadi, President of the UAE Muaythai Federation, expressed his pride and gratitude:

Abu Dhabi Set to Host IFMA Youth World Championship 2025
Looking ahead, the UAE continues to elevate its position in the global Muaythai landscape.
Tariq Mohammed Al Muhairi , IFMA Executive Board Member, emphasized the importance of long-term investment and development:
“The grassroots development of Muaythai in the UAE has laid a strong foundation for our current success. We are proud to announce that the UAE is fully prepared to welcome youth athletes from over 100 countries for the IFMA Youth World Championship 2025, set to take place in the beautiful city of Abu Dhabi.”
