The second round of the World Muaythai Angels saw a full crowd and tense fights, further promoting the popularly of female Muaythai.
The first matchup in Pool A brought the two world champions together: Duennapa Mor Rattanapundit from Thailand Joanna Jedrzejczyk from Poland: both women from the start to the end stood toe-to-toe using all weapons of Muaythai and in the end with the help of the sold out crowd, it was Thailand that won with a very close decision.
The fighters from both Pools consisted of two world champions, Duennapa Mor Rattanapundit from Thailand Joanna Jedrzejczyk from Poland, as well as: Sindy Huyer from Italy; Laurene Tue from France; Chommanee Sor. Teh Hiran from Thailand; Iman Ghbalou Chairi from Morocco; Teresa Wintermyr from Sweden; and I Linca Lucia Serbu from Romania.
The world is moving forward and the final will be held in Superfour format: semi-final and final held during the same event, so fighters must enter two bouts to win. It really was a fantastic effort from all the fighters.
