Participants of the Arafura Games 2019 found out their opponents today after the draw was made to build the bout lists across five competition days at the Darwin Convention Center.
Many renowned athletes entered the Games and already tomorrow local muaythai community and the guests of Darwin will be able to enjoy amazing bouts tomorrow.
The leader of the Australian team and current Asian Champion Yolanda Schmidt will open the Australian participation in the Games against the Philippines Jenelyn Olsim in 54 kg division. It will definitely be a must watch bout for every spectator and Yolanda will have a tremendous support tomorrow from the local crowd.
Two representatives of Ukraine Vladislav Mykytas Mens’ 57 kg (silver medalist of the World Championships 2018) and Viktoria Ivanets Womens’ 57 kg (silver of the European Championships 2018) will step in the ring against the French Quentin Alhamdou and Thai Ruchira Wongsriwo respectingly.
Another amazing bout in Womens’ 57 kg will take place between the French Anaelle Angerville and Austrian Nina Scheucher. It will be a true show as both athletes have a great experience in competing in IFMA events.
