The Uruguayan Federation of Traditional Muaythai is ready to welcome the South American Muaythai delegations to the 32nd South American Championships in Montevideo, Uruguay from October 21st to 23rd.
“The South American championship will be played between the governing national federations of each country that are affiliated with IFMA. Also in order to promote Muaythai South America, delegations that are processing the creation of a governing sports entity in their country may participate.” said Marcos Pereira, President of the Uruguayan Federation of Traditional Muaythai.
In order to ensure the best level of technical organisation, IFMA ITO from the region, Juliana Leite will be on-site as the official IFMA representative. Together with IFMA Senior ITO and Jury member Abby Nelson joining via zoom, they will be delivering a full-day seminar to the Uruguayan Referees & Judges prior to the start of the competition to ensure fair play and the safety of the athletes.
