Three athletes from Thailand (2 male Thai’s and an Austrian girl who lives in Thailand) come to battle with Canadian athletes Peter ‘Let’s Go’ Arbeau, Hakeem ‘Ice’ Dawodu and Nicci Soutiere respectively. Arbeau, Dawodu, and Soutiere have been extremely busy fighting this year and now step up another notch and to an exciting level squaring off with athletes trained in the art of muaythai in the home country of Thailand. The Canadians are training hard and are ready to participate in what will be a sequence of very exciting fights, hosted by the Canadian promoter, Mike Miles, under IFMA sanctioning.

Peter Arbeau (Calgary/Miles) vs. Sakonchai Wan Charoenrit (Koh Panang/Wan Charoenrit)
Canada’s Arbeau steps up a huge notch squaring off with Koh Panang athlete Sakonchai. Arbeau has been busy this year. Having won the World LightMiddleWeight Title in April, and participated in the World Classic, Arbeau has trained hard for what is expected to be the toughest fight of his career yet. Sakonchai has been very busy fighting and defeating top Thai athletes and foreigners in Koh Panang, Koh Samui, and others in Phuket. Sakonchai is coming with one thing in mind and that is to win this fight for his camp!

Hakeem Dawodu (Calgary/Miles) vs. Lamnamkong Kietwaiyawan (Koh Panang/Wan Charoenrit)

Canada’s Haleem Dawodu has had a very strong 2011 in terms of performance and winning in muaythai. As the current IKF World Champion and winner of the World Classic he will step into the ring to square off against decorated muaythai veteran from Thailand Lamnankong. The Thai athlete brings a wealth of experience with him and is know for his aggressive style cornering his athletes and slicing them to pieces using his fast and accurate elbows. Dawodu expects the toughest fight of his career in this match up.
