Muaythai became closer to so many youths in Belarus as the initiative of the President’s Sports Club of the Republic of Belarus launched 5 states of the art sports centers for the youth from the challenging environment. The initiative was supported by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Belarus and the Belarus National Federation of Kickboxing and Muaythai.

With so many champions Belarus has deep muaythai traditions and the youth making its first steps in the sport will definitely have national heroes to look up to and follow their footsteps towards the highest steps of the awarding podium.

Boys and girls from 10 to 15 years already found sport as one of the ways to spend their time and Belarus coaches as the role models to follow.
The Chairman of the President’s Sports Club of Belarus, Dmitry Lukashenko said that now these youth have access to the state-of-the-art facilities, they will be under the supervision of the experienced coaches who raised many world and European champions. There will be an educational center where kids can also learn and catch up on school programme.

Belarus is truly one of the powerhouses in the European muaythai and such projects explain the success of the Belarus sport through decades. IFMA can only congratulate the Belarus Federation of Kickboxing and Muaythai on their hard work.
