A big team of 80 people is coming for the Youth World Championships from Australia with parents, coaches, spectators coming to support the youth and show again the spirit of Australian Muaythai.
Sport from the grass roots is the key in Australia which holds annual national camps and championships for the youth. All the Australia say they will closely follow the performance of their kids and look forward to welcoming them back home with medals but importantly with great memories about the event and the host city Bangkok.
Australian Muaythai is fully recognised by the government and they have a clear vision for the youth, especially that Muaythai is in FISU and World Games. Also contract has been signed between Oceania Olympic Committee and Asian Olympic Council giving Australia and other Oceania countries right to take part in Asian Indoor Martial Arts Games, Asian Beach Games, and it is important now to build for the future that Australia continues to be one of the outstanding teams in the world.
