In IFMA’s good governance and practice, after every event a survey is conducted to see if the IFMA stakeholders, especially the athletes have comments for improvement.

 

Abu Dhabi held an exceptional event. Congratulations must go to the UAE Muaythai Federation under chairmanship of H.E. Abdullah Saeed Amer Al Neyadi and Executive Director Mr. Tareq Mohamed Al Mehairi.

 

 

 

IFMA takes pride in ensuring that the athletes are the heart and soul of every event and the survey result shows that the athletes regardless if they end up on the podium or not had an enjoyable and memorable time in Abu Dhabi. Therefore, on behalf of IFMA a big thank you to the UAE Muaythai Federation and the beautiful city of Abu Dhabi. 35 Asian countries participated in the survey.

Overall Perception: The overall perception of the event including all the activities and conferences was very good. Over 94% rated the event as good or very good and no one rated the event as poor. Participants were most happy with: hotel, venue, organisation, location, food and hospitality.
Organisation: 88.24% of the participants found the event very well organised. 11.76% rated the event as moderately organised and no one rated the event as being poorly organised.
Staff friendliness: About 88% of the participants found the staff friendly and hospitable and only 11.76% had complaints.
Length of the event: About 70% found the length of the event just about right. Only 5.88% found it too short. And 23.53% fount it too long.
Schedule: In regards to the schedule of the fights everyone was satisfied. There were no complaints. Registration process: Everyone seemed happy. Which is a good sign taking into consideration that participants arrive at different times after long flights. Venue & Accommodation: Everyone was happy with the venue and accommodation. Transportation: 7.14 % thought the transportation could be improved while 92% have been happy with transportation. Food: Most participants were satisfied with the food. Only 6.67% thought there was room for improvement. Opening ceremony and medal ceremony: Everyone was satisfied with the opening ceremony and medal ceremony. Beach workout: Over 92% liked the beach workout, while 7.69% found it poor. Excursion: All participants were happy with the excursion. Medical service: Over 92% were satisfied with the medical service, while 7.69% found it fair.
