In IFMA tradition, after every major championship, a gala night is held to honor the achievements of individuals and teams of the event. A special night was held in breathtaking atmosphere welcoming the athletes and delegates from 20 Arab countries.

His Excellency Abdullah Al Neyadi opened the event saluting and applauding the athletes, coaches, referees and everyone who contributed to the success of the event.

Stephan Fox thanked the UAE Muaythai Federation and made a special presentation of gifts to His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His Excellency Abdullah Al Neyadi and Tareq Al Mehairi, the Executive Director of the UAE Muaythai Federation.

A special presentation was also made to the Pi Muay band from Thailand ensuring the promotion of the tradition and culture of the sport.

Mohamed Mardi (UAE) won the award for the BEST MALE ATHLETE

Asso Lahcen (MAR) won the award for BEST COACH

Morocco won the award for BEST MALE TEAM

Algeria won the award for the FEMALE TEAM

Zainab Bouhamada (UAE) won the award for BEST FEMALE ATHLETE

Hisham Al-Sarraj (LBN) won the award for SPORTSMANSHIP

Hattan Al-Saif (KSA) won the award for FEMALE RISING STAR

Mohamed Al-Tuwaizi (UAE) won the award for MALE RISING STAR

Mashari Al-Mansouri (UAE) won the award for BEST MALE REFERE

Noura Said (UAE) won the award for BEST FEMALE REFEREE

BEST TEAM went to Morocco who once again showed why they are one of the leading federations in Africa.

The night finished in true IFMA spirit joining in one big celebratory party where athletes, regardless of whether or not they ended up on the podium, celebrated the spirit of friendship and looking forward to the next major IFMA competition in Bangkok, the Senior World Championships 2023.
