An honorary celebration took place in Ottawa, the capital city of Canada, at the Ottawa War Museum, hosted by His Excellency Kallayana Vipattipumiprates.
Many dignities from embassies, the Canadian government and Sports Ministry were present for this day in which His Excellency Ambassador Kallayana Vipattipumiprates showed his pride for muaythai to become recognized by the International Olympic Committee.
A special program was put together by Muaythai Canada and President Alin Halmagean with a beautiful Wai Kru performance by Muaythai Canada National Youth Team member Ramsey Khatib, who won bronze at the 2023 IFMA Youth World Championships in Turkey.
