From December 10–19, 2024, Chanthaburi Province proudly hosts the 49th National Games, Thailand’s very own Olympics. This prestigious event unites athletes, officials, and fans from across the nation for a vibrant celebration of sports, culture, and unity.

A Showcase of Talent

The Games feature competitions in athletics, swimming, volleyball, badminton, and the crown jewel, Muaythai. Held at the Physical Education School in Khlung District, the Muay Thai tournament runs from December 10–19, with 18 gold medals awarded in the finals.

“This is more than a battle in the ring—it’s a chance for athletes to earn rankings and represent Thailand on international stages,” said the General Secretary of AMTAT, AVM. Mongkorn Semarat.
