England vs Thailand – Biggest Fights In The Uk at The Doncaster Dome 9th April 2011
Doncaster Dome could go down as possibly the best venue of its size in the country. It’s similar in layout to the Reebok, but a bit bigger and has tiered seats down 2 sides of the venue and on the balcony, so everyone gets a great view/seat. It’s just off the motorway and anyone who was at the Fight Sport Industries event in Birmingham knows the atmosphere will be electric, especially as we won’t be able to get a crowd that big physically in the Dome!
Liam Harrison (Bad Company, Leeds) vs Sanchai Sor Kingstar (Sinbi, Thailand)
The fight the world has been waiting for – Harrison vs Sanchai the rematch! Pound for pound Britain’s number one Harrison takes on the world’s pound for pound number one Sanchai. Harrison has previously gained revenge in rematches against two top class Thai fighters: Anuwat Kaewsamrit & Numphon PK Sterio, and this could be the third rematch win that will see him be heralded as an all time great!
Damien Trainor (K-Star, Birmingham) vs Rungravee Sasiprapa (Sasiprapa, Thailand)
Trainor is in for the hardest fight of his decade spanning career as he goes up against the tank Rugravee who previously stopped Andy Howson on UK!
Leigh Edlin (Chao Praya, Doncaster) vs Kris Addis (Kao Loi, Harrogate)
British Title fight that sees the undefeated hard hitting Edlin go up against the highly rated Addis who has also only lost to an English fighter once early in his career. Dark horse for the domestic fight of the night!
Andy Thrasher (Erawan Manchester) and Michael Dicks against world class European opposition!
Plus many others, including Craig Jose, Joe McGovan, Chad Sugden, Sam Omogbe and Chris Knowles!
