Assuncion, Parguay will host the XXIV South American Muaythai Championship on June 22nd, 2013 (10:00 am) at Centro Cultural Unace. The event will bring athletes from ten countries to fight under IFMA rules.
Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay, Chile, Peru , Bolivia, Colombia, Venezuela and Ecuador are all up for the challenge to take home some medals!
The 71 KG division will see a Super 4 Pro fight for the South American Muaythai Champion belt. Vying for the belt will be Nicolas “El Jinete” Rey (Argentina), Carlos Henrique “Curió” (Brazil), Cezar “Goku” Arzamendia (Paraguay), and Nicolas “Nitro” Mujica (Uruguay).
This exciting event will also be highlighted by the participating of the talented Shevchenko sisters, Valentina and Antonina!
In a press conference which took place on Jube 12th , Olympic Committee of Paraguay (OCP) President Camilo Pérez announced that the event was recognised by the OCP, and is is full support of IFMA’s goal of Olympic Recognition.
