
Bangkok, Thailand – In a powerful demonstration of sport’s ability to unite, the World Muaythai Council (WMC), under Royal Patronage, in cooperation with the International Federation of Muaythai Associations (IFMA), the IOC-recognised governing body for Muaythai, delivered a landmark weekend of elite competition across multiple continents.
From Europe to Australia, and culminating in Bangkok at the iconic Rajadamnern Stadium, the events highlighted Muaythai’s continued global growth, universality, and strong position within the Olympic Movement.

Global Highlights Across Europe
Elite athletes competed at the highest level, representing nations across continents and reinforcing Muaythai’s international depth.
In France, Achille Robinet secured the WMC Intercontinental -63.5kg title with a unanimous decision victory over Donavan (USA) in a highly competitive contest.
In the women’s division, Ana Lisa Ruber (Austria) captured the WMC MAD -54kg title, defeating Valentina Simanikhina (France) by split decision in a closely contested bout.


Italy also delivered standout performances during the Fighting Spirit World Series, where Giordano Stella claimed the WMC Intercontinental Super Featherweight title with an impressive victory over Thailand’s Tee Yai Tor Khon Kiaw Khaw. On the national level, Alessandro Rollo secured the Italian title, further demonstrating the strength of Italy’s Muaythai development system.

Bangkok Takes Center Stage
The weekend reached its pinnacle in Bangkok at the historic Rajadamnern Stadium, where the Rajadamnern World Series (RWS) showcased Muaythai at the highest level. The event was held before a full-capacity audience and broadcast to over 200 countries worldwide, reflecting the sport’s global appeal.

Among the standout performances:
- Malaysia’s Miki Ghazali defeated Aekmongkol, confirming Malaysia’s growing presence on the international stage
- Elias Ghazali delivered a strong performance in a closely contested bout against Thailand’s Superchub
- Thailand’s Dam Parunchai secured victory over Australia’s Chadd Collins in a high-level championship contest
- Switzerland’s Daniel Rodriguez delivered a composed performance against Thailand’s Hercules
- Italy’s Paulo D’Antoni and Russia’s Dmitry Changelia also recorded notable victories
International athletes secured four out of six victories, underlining the sport’s rapid global development.




Strong National Development in Australia
Australia further demonstrated its strength in Muaythai through WMC-sanctioned national title bouts and ranking events:

- Reece Corrigan won the national title against Chris Nguyen
- Fahed Haidar secured the Bantamweight title over Kenta Sawa
- Andoni Uhila claimed the State Title
- Jake Landells defeated Jackson Walker by unanimous decision
