The countdown has begun! In just three weeks, the Kingdom of Bahrain will welcome more than 4,000 young athletes from 45 Asian nations and National Olympic Committees for the 3rd edition of the Asia Youth Games under the Olympic Council of Asia.

This landmark event is a celebration of youth, sport, and cultural exchange, and it highlights Bahrain’s growing status on the international sporting stage.

His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa has expressed his deep pride in the Kingdom as host, reflecting Bahrain’s commitment to sport, to youth, and to strengthening the Olympic values of friendship, excellence, and respect.

The President of Asian Muaythai under IFMA, the continental arm of FAMA, will make his debut. His Excellency Abdullah Al Neyadi, President of FAMA, stated that Muaythai—with its rich cultural heritage, deep values of respect and discipline—has become a unifying force for Asia’s youth. Only two weeks ago, the Youth World Championship was successfully organized in Abu Dhabi with a record number of participants.

The President thanked the Olympic Council of Asia, the Bahrain National Olympic Committee, and His Highness Sheikh Khalid. Together with IFMA, he emphasized, we will continue to build a strong future for athletes and uphold the values we stand for.
