Gold Coast, Australia – The stage is set for a night of explosive Muaythai action as the Infliction Fight Series returns to the Royal Pines Resort, Gold Coast, on Saturday, August 23, featuring a stacked card of elite fighters from Australia, Thailand, and New Zealand.
Headlining the event is one of Australia’s most celebrated Muaythai athletes, multiple WMC World Champion Chadd “The Shark” Collins, who will face off against Thailand’s Jack Rachanon in a highly anticipated World Title showdown. This bout is more than just a championship defense — it’s a grudge match, as Jack previously defeated Chadd in 2022. Now, with the title on the line and national pride at stake, Chadd Collins is determined to turn the tables in front of a home crowd and keep the World title in Australia
“If you’re a Chadd Collins fan, make sure you tune in,” said Nick Atkins, President of the Australian Muaythai Federation. “This is one of the most important fights of his career — a revenge match against a world-class opponent. All of Australia is standing behind Chadd.”
The undercard features an exciting array of matchups, including:
- Australia vs. New Zealand team bouts, showcasing regional rivalry at its finest
- Rising stars from across the Oceanic Muaythai scene
This event marks another major milestone for Australian Muaythai, which continues its rapid growth and has recently been fully recognized by the Australian Sports Commission — a significant achievement for the sport nationwide.

Promoter Nick Atkins has put together another amazing card and stated that if you’re a Chadd Collins fan, make sure you tune in to watch him defend his title against Jack Rachanon from Thailand. Jack defeated Chadd in 2022, making this a revenge match — a true grudge match — and all of Australia is standing behind Chadd. The event also features a strong undercard, including an international vs. Australia and New Zealand semi-main event, plus some exciting up-and-coming local fighters.
