Danang, Vietnam, February 24, 2016: The Information and Media Sub-Committee of the 5th Asian Beach Games-Danang 2016 held a meeting to report on the progress of the Online Accreditation System.

The system should be completed by the end of this month, enabling Asia’s NOCs to begin registering their delegations for the 5th ABG, which will run from September 24 to October 3.

Attending the meeting were Mr. Vuong Bich Thang, General Director of the Vietnam Administration of Sports, Mr. Pham Van Tuan, Deputy General Director of the Vietnam Administration of Sports and head of the Information and Media Sub-Committee, and officials of other sub-committees of DABGOC.

According to the report of the Sports Information Center of the Vietnam Administration of Sports – the unit in charge of setting up the online accreditation system – the work is on schedule and in good time for the accreditation procedure to begin.

The system will be on the home page of the 5th ABG official website and will be able to be accessed through tablet and smart phone. (danang2016.accreditation.com)

Representatives of the Sports Information Center described the five aspects of the system: Registration Form, Search Tool, Classified Card Printing, Guide Book and Private Account Administration for System Administrators.

The Center also promised that the system would be fast and convenient and would not suffer a breakdown due to multiple logging-in by NOCs and other stakeholders.

In conclusion, Mr. Pham Van Tuan praised the efforts of the sub-committees, especially the Sports Information Center for setting up the online accreditation system. He said the system would be convenient and helpful for all NOCs, and would be completed by the end of February.
